Winds of Change: Indigenous Youth Circle for Clean Air | June 4, 2025 (Virtual)

Clean Air Day: "Winds of Change: Indigenous Youth Circle for Clean Air."

About the Event

Clean air is essential to health, well-being, and cultural practices in Indigenous communities. From land-based activities to seasonal gatherings, the quality of the air we breathe shapes our ways of life. However, many Indigenous communities continue to face air quality challenges due to industry, wildfires, and limited monitoring.

This youth-led circle offers a space for Indigenous youth to:

·         Share lived experiences related to clean air and environmental justice

·         Connect through stories, breakout groups, and art-based activities

·         Learn from peers and Elders

·         Explore collective pathways forward

All youth will receive a $50 honoraria.  Door prizes also available!

This event is designed to bring together Indigenous youth (under 30 years old) from across the country to learn, share, and lead conversations about the importance of clean air for our communities, cultures, and future generations.
