Dınàgà Wek'èhodì
Dınàgà Wek’èhodì is a Candidate Protected Area under the Protected Areas Act. The North Slave Métis Alliance is working with fellow Indigenous Governments and the Government of the Northwest Territories to protect this culturally important and historic place.
What are we doing?
The North Slave Métis Alliance have been working alongside the Government of the Northwest Territories, Tłı̨chǫ Government, Yellowknives Dene First Nation, the Northwest Territories Métis Nation, and other relevant groups in building this Candidate Protected Area.
