The last few weeks have been extremely stressful and uncertain. The NSMA is providing $500 to the NSMA members who were impacted/evacuated due to the wildfires in August. If members have not yet received their money, please contact connie@nsma.net. You must be on the membership list of the NSMA in order to receive the $500 payment. Due to the high cost to families, we are also providing an additional $250 per child of the member. Those children must also be on the membership list or verifiable as the members' children and not covered under another Indigenous organization. If you and your family require any additional support, please do not hesitate to contact our office. If we cannot help you directly, we will work with you to locate the resources and support you need.
