Sharing this message on behalf of GNWT

---

Dear Water Partners,

We are excited to announce the launch of the 2026-2027 NWT Youth Water Stewardship and Mentorship Grant Program.

This grant program, offered by the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT), Department of Environment and Climate Change (ECC), supports youth aged 18-30 in bringing their water stewardship ideas to life. The program is designed to connect young people with opportunities, experiences and resources that help build their skills and interests in water stewardship.

Youth engagement and capacity building in water stewardship are essential for the continued success of the Northern Voices, Northern Waters: The NWT Water Stewardship Strategy (the Water Strategy), and fostering the next generation of water leaders in the North.
