Yellowknife (May 25, 2026) – Applications are now being accepted for the 2026-2027 Northwest Territories (NWT) Youth Contributions Program. This program provides funding to community governments and registered non-profit territorial, regional, and community-based organizations that provide specific programs or services to youth.

Eligible Youth Contributions projects can include the development of activities of youth-serving organizations, traditional cultural events, youth development activities and trips, and new and innovative projects that improve lifestyle choices for youth.

Organizations can apply for up to $5,000 in funding to assist with project costs.

Applications are accepted annually starting in April through GNWT Regional Recreation Coordinators and are approved on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to regional budget allocations.

For more information on the Youth Contributions Program, or to download an application form, please visit https://www.maca.gov.nt.ca/en/services/youth-contributions-program.
