NWT HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION LAUNCHES PROJECT TO HEAR FROM INDIGENOUS RESIDENTS AND NEW CANADIANS

The NWT Human Rights Commission has launched a project to understand the views of two groups who are at a higher risk of facing discrimination – Indigenous people and new Canadians.

The goal of the project is to understand ways to better reach these groups with information about their human rights, to hear about barriers to accessing the services of the Human Rights Commission, and understanding what a just outcome means across different groups of people.
