Fall Harvest Feast & Community Potluck

1 min read

Thank you to everyone who came together to commemorate the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation and celebrate harvest, culture, and community. This was our inaugural event in NSMA's new FBII building.

We greatly appreciate all the hard work citizens and staff put into organizing this event and our amazing fiddlers, Penny Kirkham, Lee Mandeville, and George Mandeville accompanying on the guitar.

A special thank you to Shirley Coumont for running our community garden, mentoring citizens, and providing a beautiful harvest.

Thanks to Al and Scott Harman for getting a moose last week and to Al for making moose stew.

Last but not least, thank you to NSMA citizens and their families who prepared wonderful dishes to eat, many of which were made with the produce from the garden, such as the potatoes and other veggies in the moose stew.
